Today we are one week on from the Dunfermline Press Community Champion Awards.
I WON! I was over the moon when I found out last month that I had not only been nominated for an award but for young enterprise champion of the year.
On the night we arrived to a lovely drinks reception then we all got seated and to my surprise we then got to watch Britain’s got Talent Semi finalists Spartans Resurrection do their act to open the event which was amazing to see their talent right before me.
There was many categories on the night a few which were announced before we got to enjoy our beautiful three course meal of course mine was the category right after dinner so I nervously had my dinner and waited.
I was over the moon when my name was called to go up and make a small speech as I had won. I was handed my awards then went and got my snaps for the paper done.
This award really does mean so much to me. I have worked very hard over the last three years to build up my business LP Designs. Last year I moved the business out of my spare room at home and into my new premises in Dalgety Bay.
Business is going well but of course not without all the tireless hours and hard work that is put in and it would not work without all the other small local businesses I work with such as Big! Huge! Massive! & Candis Cupcake Boutique . I feel all my determination and hard work is paying off and been recognized and my award will sit in my cabinet in my new office beaming with pride.
This has just given me even more confidence to work even harder than before and provide lots of great deals new products and services for all my clients past and present.
I am not just trying create memories and gorgeous photographs of you and your loved ones to cherish but an experience as well when you come along to LP Designs I want you to feel relaxed and welcome and have a good time.
Thanks again to Dunfermline Press & Stevenson Funeral Directors for putting on this truly astonishing awards event and also to Taylor Law for sponsoring my category as well as all the other finalists in all the category’s and last but definitely not least all my family and friends who have supported me 100% through my venture especially my husband Sander who has to listen to all my ideas and put up with me day in and day out :)!
Don’t forget to buy your copy of Dunfermline Press & Central Fife Times this week for full coverage of the event.
